Refund Policy

Requests for refunds to our day camps must be submitted in writing to camp@montalvoarts.org. As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, we have updated our refund policy: Full refunds will be given up to 14 days prior to the start date if requested, or in the event Montalvo cancels a camp.

Anti-Bullying Policy

At Montalvo we have zero tolerance for bullying. Bullying of any kind will result in the immediate removal from camp. The physical and emotional safety of our students and staff are central to Montalvo’s camps and vital to its overall mission. As such, we take the issues of bullying, harassment, and violence very seriously. Bullying is generally defi ned as when one or more people maliciously exclude, tease, taunt, gossip, hit, kick, or put down another. Montalvo’s leadership investigates any and all allegations of bullying, and trains camp supervisors to promote positive communication, so that students can feel comfortable voicing their concerns to staff. By working together as a team to identify and manage bullying, we can help ensure that everybody has a great experience here at Montalvo.

Aspiring architects will master basic building principles by working as a team to create a large-scale fort out of natural and man-made materials. Collaboration and imagination will be integral to their success.

This fort will be installed as part of our annual Art on the Grounds Festival, where artists are invited to respond to Montalvo’s broader programmatic theme SOCIAL: Rethinking Loneliness Together. Through the creation of new works, this structure included, we will examine how we can imagine and create new social spaces that help us foster deeper and more lasting connections with one another.
