A mix of cooking and crafts makes this class a hands-on feast of fun for aspiring chefs. Students will begin by getting the low-down on kitchen safety, then learn how to follow recipes to make delicious, nutritious foods. After the cooking is done, they will focus on various aspects of hospitality and the art of plating their creations. They will also engage in various craft projects including making a chef’s hat, a cookbook, and a placemat. At the end of the week, they will take home lots of tasty recipes to share with family and friends.
