What can young inventors accomplish when armed with a battery, some wire, and their innate imagination? Pretty much anything—and campers will see how true that is in this fun introduction to electronics!
The week will begin with instruction about what circuits are and how electricity works. Next, students will design their own low voltage circuits. After mastering these basic principles, they will take their lessons to the next level as they conceptualize and create electronic art, including small robots and games of skill.
All the subject matter covered will serve as building blocks for students’ future study, and help them understand the complex circuitry found in computers, stereos, and more.
