VENUE: Historic Villa
This workshop explores the Integrated Learning Habits of Mind, a set of skills and dispositions that underlie inquiry-based, arts-integrated learning. The habits embrace the social, cultural, and emotional aspects of integrated learning as well as the academic and cognitive benefits of it. Ideas and strategies for teaching will be provided in the context of hands-on art activities.
This workshop will be led by Julia Marshall, a key influencer in development of the Integrated Arts curricula for Alameda County Office of Education Integrated Learning Program.
