About the instructor, Ann Malmuth-Onn:

Ann Malmuth-Onn directs the Dance Program and Honors Program at West Valley College. She is a former member of the Inbal Dance Theater of Israel, and has a MA in education and a BA in cultural anthropology from Stanford University. Her current course offerings focus on choreography and dance ethnology.

VENUE: Historic Villa

This workshop explores Israeli folk dance and song as a window to ancient history and culture. Selected themes will unfold from modern and religious repertoire, such as "Song of Songs" and "Ruth." Wear comfortable clothing and footwear (dance slippers or bare feet).

NOTE: Content is geared towards adults; teens aged 13+ may attend with adult supervision.
