Monday, October 30, 2017, 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
VENUE: Phelan Library
Come join the Montalvo Education staff for a seasonally inspired networking evening exploring the role of impersonation, “dressing up,” and the essentials of play in arts and education. In addition to wine and light refreshments, we’ll be discussing and participating in creating tableaus -- a traditional performance art technique that brings imagery to life and works to build and embody empathy. Theater games and other role-play techniques will also be looked at.
Bring a friend, colleague, or anyone else interested in the field of education who would like to join the discussion and connect with peers. Costumes welcome!
