Andrea Blum is a journalist, writer, and chef turned food entrepreneur. Born in Pennsylvania and raised in California, her passion for food ignited when as a 20-year-old she studied for a year in France, discovering the stories, art, and cultural significance of food that would quickly become part of a lifelong fascination.

A long farm table beautifully set; a delicious, locally sourced meal from a master chef; award-winning wine from local vintners; a warm summer evening at Montalvo. You could not ask for better ingredients for an unforgettable experience!

The event will begin with a sumptuous cocktail reception on Charmaine’s Garden Terrace. An elegant three-course dinner will follow, on the grand front veranda of our historic Villa. 

Chef Andrea Blum, Montalvo’s resident Culinary Artist, will prepare the exquisite feast, tantalizing your taste buds with an innovative menu inspired by her cultural studies in France and Italy. Her fresh, seasonal cuisine will be paired with wine selections from Domaine Eden and Mount Eden Vineyards.

Attendance at this exclusive event is limited to 75 guests. Proceeds will benefit Montalvo and its arts and education outreach programs.

  • Grand cheese plate
  • Asparagus tarts

  • Manresa breads and porcini butter
  • Smoked King salmon with fennel, mint and peas
  • Mashed potatoes with chives 
  • Peach and apricot cobbler with creme fraiche
