Join us for a midweek burst of best loved songs from around the world led by highly acclaimed artists and Saratoga residents Jennifer der Torossian-Studley (soprano/director, Bay Shore Lyric Opera) and Tamami Honma (piano/director, Cal Arte Ensemble) with friends Liliane Cromer (mezzo-soprano), Delmar McComb (tenor), Julian Brown (violin/co-founder Cal Arte), and Goetz Leonhardt (viola). Held in the elegant setting of the historic Villa, this intimate concert is sure to delight. Proceeds go to benefit Montalvo Arts Center.

Program:

First Half (Italy)

Selection of well-known songs and arias by Vincenzo Bellini, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Franz Liszt/Verdi piano transcription

Second Half (Germany)

Selection of lyrical instrumental works by Franz Schubert, Richard Strauss, Johannes Brahms
