As Bruce Munro at Montalvo: Stories in Light nears its close, join Barbara Goldstein, a leading voice in public art planning and Placemaking, and a distinguished panel of artists who will discuss light as a medium for engaging community. Artists, including Bay Area based, Jim Campbell, creator of the recent Salesforce tower illumination, will share their work, their practice and their interest in light as a medium. Significant large scale light based installations will be shared and discussed, along with the significant role public art plays in sustaining public spaces that promote healthy, flourishing and equitable communities.
