For ages 5-105

Learn to make pinch, coil and slab pots which are both ancient and contemporary vessels. The raku process involves firing clay at a high temperature, removing it, and placing it on a bed of natural materials (leaves, saw dust, pine needles). Smoke from the natural materials imprint designs on the pottery, creating beautiful art pieces and receptacles.

This 5-week class meets on Tuesdays from 3:30pm-5:30pm on October 16, 23, 30, and November 6, 13 (5 weeks)
