VENUE: Euphrat Museum of Art
RELATED EXHIBITION: Rolling Counterpoint
Join us for the launch of Rolling Counterpoint at Euphrat Museum, De Anza College! Share your stories about belonging, exclusion and social division with artist Taro Hattori. Add your voice to a growing collection of perspectives gathered from your community as Hattori invites you to participate in an ongoing conversation across the Bay Area organized around two key questions: What does it mean to belong? and What divides us?
The launch of Rolling Counterpoint at the Euphrat Museum is organized in association with Audrey Edna Butcher Civil Liberties Education Initiative of the California History Center at De Anza College. It is presented in association with the opening reception for the Justice for All?, an exhibition featuring artworks that examine social inequity, violence, and injustice and explore the important role of empathy in informing both our personal actions and the policies and activities of our social institutions.
