BOXTALES is "…simply the best children's program in America." — Shirley Ririe, Young Audiences of America

Celebrate the wiles and cunning of underdogs as they discover self-reliance and creative problem solving skills when they find themselves in a pickle! This humorous and magical journey through trickster tales from around the world is filled with wily creatures who teach us folk wisdom, morals, and life lessons.

Stories include: Brer Rabbit (Southern USA), Tio Coñejo (Mexico / bi-lingual), How Kwaku Ananase Gained a Kingdom of Knowledge from a Kernel of Corn (Ghana, West Africa). Directed by the BOXTALES Theatre Company, this show features performers Matt Tavianini, Michael Andrews, and Deven Sisler and beautiful masks by Ann Chevrefils and Lindsay Rust.
