Join us for a two-day writing workshop where students will explore the writing process from conception to finished work. Students will be asked to write in a manner that is comfortable. This may take the form of poetry, flash fiction, memoir, fantasy. The form is not as important as the process of writing and expanding an idea. Participants will be given prompts to assist in the creation of work. Participants will be encouraged to share the work as they proceed. Discussion is important and a commitment to revise the work with the intent of trying to understand what the writer wants to convey or what the work is pointing to. This workshop is open to any level from beginner to proficient.

This online course will be broken into two sessions:

  • Wednesday, October 21, 6:30-8:30pm
  • Thursday, October 22, 6:30-8:30pm
