Jazz Chat in the Studio with Chris Botti and David Benoit

Get to know two of the jazz world's most fascinating musicians! Four guests will have an exclusive opportunity to take part in this one-hour private conversation with trumpeter extraordinaire Chris Botti and legendary pianist David Benoit in the composer's studio at the Sally and Don Lucas Artists Residency Program. This one-of-a-kind event will take place on Sunday afternoon, Oct 4, and includes light fare and beverages in the studio; four tickets to the Chris Botti concert in Montalvo's Garden Theatre on Oct 4 at 7 pm; and CDs by both artists.

Future jazz legend and two-time Grammy nominee Taylor Eigsti will give a concert in your home or at Montalvo in 2010! Eigsti started playing piano at an early age, and was quickly labeled a child prodigy. He began his stage career at age eight, opening for his friend and mentor, David Benoit. He has recorded and performed with jazz stars Dave Brubeck, Bobby Hutcherson, James Moody, Ernestine Anderson, and others, establishing himself nationally - and internationally - for his imaginative improvisation and elctrifying rhythmic sensibility.
