Performing Arts Series
for Students



Geared toward classrooms and educators, our 2015-2016 Performing Arts Series for Students includes ten diverse shows that are perfect for getting young people excited about live performance.


Students will experience the energy of dance, drama, and more in our intimate Carriage House Theatre. These shows are a perfect launching point for your classroom curriculum, and integrate with Common Core State Standards.

Each show has both a 9:30am and 11:30am start time to accommodate different schedules. Scholarships and bus subsidies are also available for low-income schools.

The Frog Prince


Join us for three shows in our Family Theatre Series—Sunday morning performances in the Carriage House Theatre during fall and spring.

Great for all ages, these are designed to engage intergenerational audiences in the theatre-going experience.

Bay Area independent bookseller Hicklebee's will be at each performance with the books that inspired the shows and more.

The Fratello Marionettes return to Montalvo with imaginative puppetry giving life to the popular fairy tale.

This symposium of integrated learning explores topics current to the needs of educators. With presentations, workshops, and performances, this day will enrich your teaching approach.

Relevancy: Project-Based Learning Through the Arts
Learn skills for adapting current curriculum to create art-based lessons that accomodate various learning styles and encourage empathy.
