We Players in "Romeo and Juliet"

"Unlike anything you'll see on Broadway"
                            —SF Weekly

This October, you can walk in the footsteps of the most famous lovers of all time when you experience
Romeo & Juliet at Villa Montalvo—and people are talking about it!

A version of the production is currently underway in Petaluma; afterwards, it moves to Montalvo for seven fresh new performances. Read more about the Petaluma show at BayNature and BroadwayWorld.

As Romeo & Juliet unfolds on our majestic grounds, visitors will be immersed in a 360 degree sphere of performance.
We Players will blur the boundaries between audience and actors, history and the present, creating a one-of-a-kind, site-integrated experience.

Does romance make you hungry? You can purchase a boxed lunch/dinner to enjoy up to one hour before each performance. Boxes are just $15 and offer delicious, freshly packaged meals and your choice of cookies or chips—all prepared by Modern Taste Catering.

Wine party!
What could be better?

Join us this fall as we explore the Art of Wine with award-winning vintner Paul Conrado, President and CEO of Conrado Home Builders. His winemaking hobby is a way to bring people together around something they love and enjoy.

The first event is a Vineyard Bottling Party on Saturday, August 20, from 9am-12pm. The morning will begin at Conrado Cellars with a tour of the bottling facility; next, you'll take a turn on the assembly line, learning to bottle wines from start to finish. Afterwards, lift a glass of vino and enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres prepared by Montalvo Culinary Artist Andrea Blum—all with your newfound friends.

The bottling party represents a rare opportunity to access Conrado Cellars: the vineyard is not open to the public, and Conrado wines are not available for public sale. Your $65 registration fee includes a bottle to take home.

In addition to the bottling party, you can also register for a special Tour and Tasting at Conrado Cellars on Saturday, October 15, at 3pmyou'll learn more about the winemaking process and taste several wines paired with gourmet bites made just for the occasion by Blum.
