Cheers to Food & Wine!

Food & Wine 2017

This past Sunday marked our annual Food & Wine Classic, Silicon Valley's premier culinary event benefiting Montalvo. And this year was our best ever: through sponsorships, ticket sales, and passionate bidding at our live and silent auctions, we raised nearly $500,000!

This record-breaking amount will go to support all of our astonishing arts and education outreach programs. It was truly a night to remember, and we feel blessed to be a part of such an inspiring and generous community. Take a look at the photo album from the evening, which was attended by more than 400 people and featured food and drink from 20 of Northern California's best restaurants and 30 of the regions top wineries.

If you haven't already, there's still time to "fund a need" by clicking the button below. Meanwhile, please save the date for our next big fundraising bash: our amazing biennial Gala will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 -- and you won't want to miss it!

Networking & Inspiration at ArtistConnect

ArtistConnect September 25

Join us on Monday, September 25 from 4-6pm for wine, light refreshments, and a casual walking tour of our outdoor sound exhibition Now Hear This! -- all part of ArtistConnect, our networking event for artists and arts educators in the Bay Area.

This month's topic is "Active Listening within the Classroom and Community." We will explore what it means to listen to students, the community, ourselves, and our changing environment as we engage with select artworks in the exhibition. This will facilitate discussions around communication in a variety of learning environments.

ArtistConnect is free -- just RSVP through the button below. Please wear comfortable shoes for walking; the tour portion begins at 4:30pm. And be sure to bring a friend, colleague, or anyone else interested in the field of education who would like to join the conversation and connect with peers; you can invite them through our Facebook event page here!
