are in full swing!
Kids descended on Montalvo's grounds this week as our fun, creative, and educational Summer Camps got underway with great successand in some cases, an even greater mess! Pictured here is Explore, Expand, Experiment, one of our awesome new science camps, in which students learned a little bit about the explosive reaction caused by the interaction between Mentos and Diet Coke (among other fascinating things).
The good news is that there are still a few spaces in many of our remaining campsincluding Engineered Art, in which students will build a kinetic sculpture, and The Big Picture, in which kids will work together to create a large muralfinal projects for both of these camps will be placed on Montalvo's grounds for the public to view! Click here for the full schedule of camps; there are lots more to choose from!
If your child likes music, sign up for You Can Ukulele next week. Students will learn to strum some tunes and will even get to keep their instrument when camp is over. Use promotional code "Ukulele" and receive $10 off your registration!

We want to give one more huge thank you to all who attended Sunday's Food & Wine Classic event: all of our guests, our featured restaurants and wineries, and our generous sponsors came together to make a truly memorable evening.
In case you haven't heard, between ticket sales, proceeds from our live and silent auctions, and our Make a Difference paddle raise, we grossed over $282,500 in support of Montalvo and its arts and education programs! These funds will allow us to continue our vital work educating children, supporting artists, and inspiring the public.
It's not too late to raise a paddle
If you weren't in attendance on Sunday or if you left before our auction, there's still time to join in the festive giving. A gift of any amount can help make a meaningful difference!
