Louie Anderson in the spotlightand coming to Montalvo next spring

Legendary comedian Louie Anderson has experienced a career resurgence lately, thanks in part to his performance in the critically-acclaimed FX television series Baskets.
So, what's the fuss all about? In the show, Anderson plays Christine Baskets, a woman whose lifetime of experience is a source of both comedy and melancholy. He doesn't perform the role as a campy drag character, but rather with a touching earnestness that is inspired by his own mother.
As a result of his notable character, Anderson has been featured in a number of recent news outletsincluding an interview on NPR's Fresh Air, a piece in New York Magazine, and an article in the Boston Globe, among others.
In addition to roles in TV and movies, Anderson's stand-up career has been going strong for more than 30 years. He's one of the most respected comedians in the business, and his hilarious reflections on family and life always leave audiences in stitches!
Anderson will be appearing on Friday, April 7, 2017, at 7pm in our 300-seat indoor Carriage House Theatre. You won't get a better chance to see a top-notch comic in such an intimate space, so get your tickets early before the show sells out!

Important Summer Concert updates |

Our Summer Concert season is just around the corner, and we have a couple of important updates to share:
First, the performance by Wanda Sykes, which was originally scheduled for tonight (June 23) has been moved to Wednesday, September 7, at 8pm. Tickets purchased for today's show will be honored on the rescheduled date; if you need additional information, please call the Ticketmaster customer service line at 1-800-653-8000.
This means that our first concert of the season will be Rick Springfield with The Romantics on Tuesday, July 12, at 7pm. It also means you've got some extra time to buy those Wanda Sykes tickets you were planning to get.
These Summer Concerts will be your first chance to experience our new Garden Terrace for concessions, beer, and wine sales. If you've been to a summer show before, you'll be amazed by how the new space is going to streamline the purchase process and give you more space to mingle!
Lastly, don't forget to grab your tickets to our two recently-added showsToto on Thursday, September 8, at 7pm, and Megan Mullally & Nick Offerman on Friday, September 23, at 8pm.
See you this summer!
