Montalvo Donor Profile: Linda L. Lester

Linda Lee Lester

Here at Montalvo, we are fortunate to have the support of many wonderful donors. Our new donor profile series highlights some of these individuals to give you a sense of who they are and why they give.

Linda L. Lester was born in San Jose and
is part of a third generation fruit-growing family in Santa Clara Valley. She has many memories of cutting apricots and sorting fruit on conveyer belts in her early teens, and growing up on the ranch with her horse. After many years of fruit production, Linda's family sold their orchards and moved into commercial real estate. Linda eventually followed in their footsteps, forming Lester Investment Properties, which she operates today.

Linda's father was also a philanthropist, so she was taught at a very young age the importance of giving back -- as well as the personal fulfillment it can bring. One of her passions is supporting the arts in the valley, including Montalvo.

"Montalvo Arts Center is a wonderful local venue that provides fabulous entertainment, celebrations, and events," Linda says. "It creates a sense of togetherness in our community. It’s also a place that we can share and enjoy with our families. Introducing arts and entertainment to our youth has benefits that will continue on for generations."

Big thanks to Linda, for her generous support of Montalvo, most recently by sponsoring our upcoming Manhattan Transfer concerts on Sunday, May 7! If you would like to join her in giving back to our community, click the button below or call Chris Wilcox at 408-961-5849 to find out about all of the great benefits of membership.
