Nils Lofgren

We are excited to announce that we've added a performer to our already awesome concert lineup: rock guitar legend Nils Lofgren will perform on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at 8pm in our 300-seat Carriage House Theatre.

Lofgren is an award-winning guitarist and member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as part of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. His solo career spans three decades and more than 15 albums; aside from Springsteen, he has also recorded with Neil Young, Lou Reed, Ringo Starr, and others.

Create with clay:
ceramics classes

Hand Built Ceramics

Explore working with clay in our new Creekside Studio space with a weekly Monday evening class taking place during November: Hand Built Ceramics.

You will learn to create both simple and complex ceramic forms, as well as glazing and surface design techniques. And you'll head home after each session with new pieces of your own creation.

If you've taken our ceramics courses before, you'll have a chance to perfect your technique and be introduced to more advanced concepts. If this is your first class, be ready to get creative with clay!
No previous experience is required.

Registration is $180 (includes all sessions and materials); to sign up, click below or call the Box Office at 408-961-5858 10am-4pm Monday-Friday.

Think you know
The Nutcracker?

San Jose Dance Theatre: 50 Years of The Nutcracker

The Nutcracker is a beloved story that is performed every year by ballet companies across the country. But is it the same Nutcracker now as it was 50 years ago?

Bring your kids on Saturday, November 15, at 11am to our intimate Carriage House Theatre as San Jose Dance Theatre presents 50 Years of The Nutcracker—excerpts from the production featuring local youth dancers. This unique snapshot of the traditional performance will demonstrate how it has evolved over time.

Designed to be educational for both parents and kids, the show will provide an opportunity to learn about the artistry, history, and traditions behind The Nutcracker. It's both fascinating and fun to watch! And if you like the performance, you'll want to see the whole production taking place December 4-6 at the Center for Performing Arts in downdown San Jose.
