Jennifer Zeynab Maccani is a Syrian American author, a member of the Radius of Arab American Writers (RAWI), and a member of American Mensa. Her debut novel, The Map of Hopeful Broken Things, is forthcoming in 2018 from Touchstone (Simon & Schuster). Originally from New York City, Jennifer was born to a Muslim father and a Christian mother. Her work focuses on themes of Syrian American and Arab American identity. Her short stories have appeared or are forthcoming in The Kenyon Review, The Saturday Evening Post, Gulf Stream Literary Magazine, The Normal School, Mizna, and elsewhere. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and the Best of the Net. Jennifer currently resides in south central Pennsylvania with her husband and their cat.
