Lucas Artists Fellow

Dardot’s work makes use of diverse materials and media ranging from videos, photographs, prints, sculptures, paintings, and actions, to large-scale and site-specific installations. Her works have political implications in the sense that they deal with the relationship between individuals and society. Her interventions also have a great poetic dimension, literature being one of its sources of constant inspiration. Some of her projects propose participating, sharing and exchanging actions in collaboration with other artists, friends or the public itself, generating structural changes in certain collective space and cultural references. The artist has had solo shows in Brazil at Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil in Rio de Janeiro; Museu Lasar Segall in São Paulo; and Museu de Arte da Pampulha in Belo Horizonte. She has created outdoor projects for Inhotim in Brumadinho, Brazil and The Wanås Foundation in Knislinge, Sweden. She has participated in residency programs at Krizinger Projekte in Vienna, Austria and Casa Wabi in Oaxaca, Mexico. Read more at
