Needless to say, our assembly "swept me off my feet."  It was highly entertaining, but more importantly it was educational and engaging. They did a deft job of seamlessly connecting the music, dance, poetry and historical context into an amazing artistic display that allowed students to be both moved and educated. The high quality and professionalism displayed by the Montalvo Arts Center makes them the perfect partners for our school and any other that has the privilege to work with them.

This season we present a line-up featuring several internationally renowned groups representing a wide variety of artistic disciplines, ethnic cultures and social concerns. These talented artists engage students with puppetry, dance, musical theatre and storytelling. Each performance has accompanying study materials designed to complement the K-6 grade curriculum as outlined in the California State Content Standards in English-Language Arts, History-Social Science, and the Visual and Performing Arts.
