Munro chose this as the location to create a ceremonial, ever-flowing fountain (of wine) in celebration of Bacchus and his retinue who bring the trees and the animals of old Narnia back to life after they had been driven into hibernation by the invading Telmarines in C.S. Lewis’s book Prince Caspian
