Join us for an exciting 5-week ceramics journey – Seize the Clay! Under the expert guidance of Ashley Magaña, Montalvo Arts Center’s Resident Ceramist, you’ll master essential wheel throwing techniques from centering to glazing. Create your own collection of handcrafted pieces in our intimate Creekside Studio setting. Two sessions available: Spring and Summer 2025. Perfect for both beginners and those looking to refine their pottery skills!
SUMMER/FALL Creekside Ceramics Series – Adult Arts Education
Join Montalvo’s Creekside Studio for a five-week Ceramics series that meets on five consecutive Wednesdays starting August 26. Each class runs 5:30–8:30 PM, giving you time to learn core wheel-throwing skills like centering, pulling walls, shaping, trimming, kiln basics, and glazing techniques—then put them into practice as you create your own mugs, bowls, planters, or dishes. All materials are included.
