Nestled in the foothills of Silicon Valley, Montalvo Arts Center is 175 acres of pure inspiration. We are a multidisciplinary arts center and nonprofit organization serving the South Bay and beyond with a diverse range of arts, education, and community programs. We are also a public park, open daily from 8am–sunset for visits to our gardens, hiking trails, and outdoor artworks. I hope you’ll come and experience this beautiful place with your family and friends as you hike, explore the gardens, and see our collection of Art on the Grounds.

Our summer programming is well underway at Montalvo, including Summer Camps, our series of Play on the Grounds, and Summer Luncheons. We were also thrilled to debut our 2024 Marcus Exhibition, Future Dreaming… A Path Forward, which features several extraordinary works on loan as well as a new, permanent, living monument entitled A Path Forward: Honoring Ohlone Land & Spirit, a collaborative project with the Santa Clara County Parks and the Confederation of Ohlone People.

Also coming up in September, our annual Art of Food & Wine event will bring dozens of restaurants and wineries together for an evening of culinary delight; and the Lowrider Art Showcase will return, showcasing beautiful cars and cultures on our lawn. Meanwhile, the next season of our Carriage House Performing Arts Series is also on sale, with shows from September through May of 2025. It’s a busy time, and we hope you’ll join us soon!

While you’re on this site, you can learn about our mission and vision, see all of our upcoming events, and dive into our inspiring Sally and Don Lucas Artists Residency Program. You can join our fantastic community of Montalvo supporters by becoming a donor

There’s something for everyone at Montalvo…stART here!
