For more than 60 years, the intimate, indoor Claire Loftus Carriage House Theatre at Montalvo Arts Center has been a treasured venue for performing arts in Silicon Valley. A unique and acoustically balanced space, the Carriage House Theatre showcases world-class talent in music, comedy, and more.

COVID-19 Information

The safety of our audience, performers, and staff is of the utmost importance to us, and Montalvo will be following all county and state health mandates in place at the time of each performance. Please be aware that we may implement proof of vaccination and/or masking requirements at any show as health conditions change.

Currently, the following requirements are in place as a condition of entry:

  • Patrons ages 12 and older are required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination with valid photo ID prior to entering the theatre or bar/gallery. Full vaccination means a final vaccine shot must have been administered at least 14 days prior to the event date.
  • Patrons under the age of 12 are required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test taken within 72 hours of the event, plus a valid ID, prior to entering the theatre or bar/gallery.
  • Masks are required while indoors.
  • Boosters are not required.

Patrons who do not provide the necessary documentation will not be allowed to enter the theater or bar.

Parking Information

All parking is onsite at Montalvo and requires a parking permit, available for purchase when you buy your tickets or at the gate. Rideshare services and drop-offs are allowed; please tell the gate attendant you are being dropped off and follow directions. Accessible parking is also available; if you have special requirements for ADA or other parking needs, please contact the Box Office at boxoffice@montalvoarts.org.

No West Valley College parking or shuttles to Montalvo for these indoor performances.
