Serving Grades K-12 | two-one hour performances @ 9:30am and 11:30am
Students are invited to experience the creative and collaborative energy of live performance through traditional and contemporary dance, drama, music performance, poetry/storytelling, and theatre in Montalvo’s intimate and historic 300-seat Claire Luftus Carriage House Theatre. Our one-hour shows include a post-performance artist Q&A from the stage, featuring performances by local and global world-class artists, are an excellent exposure to the arts for elementary school-aged students K – 12, and a perfect launching point for classroom and homeschool curriculum.
This series has been curated to include performances examining timely social themes through an integrated learning lens and giving a platform to diverse cultural perspectives with links to California Arts Standards and the California Arts Education Framework.
Each date offers two performance times to chose from: 9:30am or 11:30am. Those attending the 11:30am performance are invited to stay after and picnic on the lawn.
We proudly offer ticket and bus subsidies for Title 1 School:

SEATING
Students will line up outside the theater and be guided into the theater to their seats. To help students have the best possible view, we ask that adults sit near the aisles and allow students to sit in the center. This also supports any need during the show for chaperones to escort students to the bathroom.
