Dr. Christina Ayson-Plank is the Asian Pacific American Collections Specialist at the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution and is based in Washington DC. From 2020-2024, Christina served as the Digital Archive Co-Director and Lead Curator for the University of California, Santa Cruz’s interdivisional, community-driven research initiative Watsonville is in the Heart. She earned her Ph.D. in Visual Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Christina holds an M.A. in Asian American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles and a B.A. in Art History and Studio Art from Marist College.
