Join Kelly Sicat and Judy Dennis from Montalvo’s Lucas Artists Residency Program for a curator-led tours of exhibitions from around the Bay Area.

October 25

Oct. 25: Cantor Arts Center + Palo Alto Arts Center

Join us for a curator led tour of the exhibition Spirit House, at the Cantor Arts Center led by Aleesa Pitchamarn Alexander, Assistant Curator at the Cantor. Spirit House includes artists Wanxin Zhang, Kelly Akashi, Greg Ito, Do Ho Suh and more. Next we’ll head to the Palo Alto Arts Center to tour the exhibition, Grow, with guest curator, Marianne K. McGrath and some participating artists. Grow includes artists Natalya Burd, Kija Lucas, and Pantea Karimi.

Nov. 13: Catharine Clark Gallery + Minnesota Street Project

Join us for an artist-led tour of the exhibition Marie Watt: Telegraph at the Catharine Clark Gallery in San Francisco. We’ll next head to Minnesota Street Project for a walk through of the galleries including Hashimoto ContemporaryAltman Siegel and Rena Bransten.

Dec. 3: Triton Museum of Art + Santa Clara University

Join us for a curator-led tour of the exhibition In the Glow at the Triton Museum of Art. Bay Area fiber arts sculptor Stephanie Metz will join the group for an artist talk about this new exhibition. Next we’ll head to the Santa Clara Campus for the Julia Haft-Candell: The Infinite Library exhibition at the DeSaisset Museum and the Dowd Art Building to tour Material Concerns, Pilar Aguero-Esparza and Hector Dionicio Mendoza.
