Jonathon Bout

Jonathan Bout is a talented artist and educator who brings creativity and innovation to Montalvo’s Summer Camp as our Fort Making instructor. With a Master of Fine Arts from San Francisco State University and extensive teaching experience across California, Jonathan has a unique ability to inspire young minds through hands-on artistic exploration. He has served as a Graduate Instructor of Record at San Francisco State University and worked as a Teaching Artist and Muralist for the South Bay Union School District in Eureka. His background in sculpture, installation art, and collaborative projects makes him the perfect guide for campers as they design, build, and imagine their own creative structures. Jonathan’s passion for fostering creativity and teamwork ensures that every camper will have an unforgettable experience constructing their dream fort this summer.
