About
Stephan Freid is an architect practicing in New York City. He has collaborated with Lee Ming Wei on the design multiple installations in support of Mingwei’s participatory work. This includes the award winning “Letter Writing Project” at the Whitney Museum of American Art as well as installations at MoMA/PS1 and LACMA.
Stephan has long engagement in the Arts Community, doing pro bono work for Non-Profit Arts Institutions and the design of numerous commercial art galleries in New York City.
Recently he managed the site-specific art installations for Delta Air Lines’ New Terminal at LaGuardia Airport working with the Queens Museum and artists including Fred Wilson, Rashid Johnson, Virginia Overton and Aliza Nissibaum.
