Sharon Dahnert

Sharon Dahnert has been integrating the arts into her curriculum for over thirty years. She is currently teaching seventh grade language arts and sixth and seventh grade creative arts at C, T. English Middle School in the Loma Prieta School District, located in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains. Sharon has been a member of the Visual and Performing Arts Leadership committee at the Santa Clara County Office of Education, district mentor teacher in using the arts to reach all students, and district Teacher of the Year. She is also an alumnus of the Bay Area California Arts Project Open Institute and Invitational Institute, is listed in the Directory of California Visual and Performing Arts Leadership, and is a member of the Teacher Advisory Board for at Montalvo. Sharon is one of the content editors for The California Visual & Performing Arts Content Standards: Arts in the Classroom binder.
