Bill Washabaugh is an aerospace engineer, roboticist, designer, builder, and musician. He is founder of Hypersonic Engineering & Design, a Brooklyn, New York-based collaborative firm focusing on the design of kinetic art and architecture, interactive electro-mechanical systems, and consumer products. A passionate environmentalist and avid cyclist, Washabaugh is continually seeking ways to redirect or rethink technology and scientific research to better meet the needs of the natural environment and the public.
