Our donors have a tremendous impact on the success of Montalvo’s mission to provide relevant, cutting-edge arts programs and education opportunities to our community. An annual gift (starting at $9/month or $100/year) not only furthers our mission but also enhances your arts experience through special perks and donor events that allow you to enjoy and share your passion Montalvo with other fans. However, please know that a gift of any size is truly appreciated and makes a difference!

All gifts are tax-deductible and can also be paid in periodic installments throughout the course of the year. Montalvo’s Federal Tax ID# is 94-1249283.

Matching Gifts

Some employers offer gift matching programs for employees who donate to certain nonprofits. Please contact your HR department to find out if your gift will be matched. Submit the signed paperwork with your gift, and we’ll take care of the rest!

Pre-show Receptions:

At some performances during each season, donors and their guests are invited to special pre-show receptions. Enjoy wine, hors d’oeuvres, and the company of your fellow concert-lovers in the historic Villa, then make your way to the theatre for the show!

Carriage House Season Presale Information:

Montalvo donors get special presale privileges before the public onsale every year when we announce our Carriage House Performing Arts Series. The presale is tiered, so the more you give, the quicker you’ll be able to purchase.

The Director’s Circles

The Griffin Society recognizes those who include Montalvo Arts Center in their estate plans. In so doing, like griffins, our Griffin Society donors become guardians of the future of Silicon Valley’s most important cultural, educational, and historic asset. Your commitment, no matter the size of your gift, will ensure that all of Montalvo’s treasures will be enjoyed for generations to come.

Planned gifts can offer significant tax advantages and in some cases generate lifetime income for you or your chosen beneficiary. You determine the amount, nature, and purpose of your gift to Montalvo. You may choose to disclose the amount of not. Regardless of the amount, your contribution and your membership in the Griffin Society mark a lasting commitment to Montalvo’s charitable purposes.

Upcoming exclusive donor events at Montalvo

Montalvo values the protection of donor privacy, and as such, is committed to the following policywith regard to the collection and use of donor information:

Montalvo does not sell, trade, rent or share donor contact information (including but not limited to mailing addresses, telephone numbers or e-mail addresses) to any third party.

Montalvo uses contact information of donors for completing a transaction, distributing receipts and thank-you letters, providing information about news and upcoming events, reporting to government agencies (when required by law) and for internal record-keeping purposes only.

Montalvo, upon request, will delete a donor’s name from Montalvo’s solicitation and mailing lists.

Montalvo provides all donors the option to be listed as “anonymous” in any of its fundraising publicity and promotional pieces.
