Inspired by our fascination with the night sky and corresponding with the Perseid meteor shower, this summer gathering will feature an evening full of fun family activities—including telescope viewing of the stars, art making, storytelling, kid-friendly, space-themed short movies on the Garden Terrace, and more. Guests have the option to conclude the evening by setting up their tents and camping out under the stars on the Great Lawn. The next morning, overnight participants will awaken to a hot cup of coffee and a continental breakfast on the front veranda of the historic Villa.
TICKET PRICES (including fees):
General: $22
Children under 18 (must be accompanied by an adult): $12
Overnight Campsite: $65 (must be purchased in addition to individual event tickets)
NOTE: Overnight preassigned camping spaces are limited and must be reserved in advance. Five people allowed per camping space; if you have more than five in your party, you must reserve multiple spaces. The festival ends at 9:30pm for those not staying the night.
FOOD & BEVERAGES:
Purchase delicious wood-fired pizza for sale from La Fenice Pizza! You can also bring your own picnic dinner if you wish. We will have small snacks for sale, as well as soda and water, plus beer and wine for the grown-ups.
TENTS & CAMPING:
For families staying overnight, a campsite ticket must be purchased in addition to your individual event tickets. Campsites will be pre-assigned. No stakes allowed for tents. Camping chairs are allowed in your designated space. If you would like to sleep outside directly on the lawn (not in a tent), please ensure your sleeping bag is waterproof as dew and moisture accumulate on the lawn overnight. No glass bottles, barbecues, or other flammable items allowed. Please clean up after yourself in the morning. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.
PARKING:
Parking is free onsite for ticketholders. Please carpool if you can so that we can ensure enough parking for everybody. If you are staying overnight, please go directly to the drop-off location to unload your camping supplies and bring them to your assigned site prior to parking.
PETS:
No dogs or other pets are allowed for the safety of our visitors, the wildlife, and your pet. If you have a dog or other pet, please make arrangements to have them cared for; you can always return in the future during regular County Park hours, when leashed dogs are allowed on the trails. Service animals are allowed.
