Annette Leddy is a curator and archivist at the Getty Research Institute and a writer on art and literature. The exhibition Farewell to Surrealism: the Dyn Circle in Mexico, co-curated by Leddy and Donna Conwell, will be presented at the Getty from Oct. 2012-Feb. 2013 and is accompanied by a catalog. Leddy has published essays on writers Roberto Bolano, Angelo Rognoni, and Borges, and on contemporary artists William Leavitt, Larry Bell, Allan Kaprow, and Robert Watts. She reviews contemporary art for Frieze Magazine, and X-tra Contemporary Art Quarterly.
In 2009 she was awarded an Art Writers grant from the Warhol Foundation and was a finalist for the Frieze Writer’s Prize.
