B Gosse (she/they) is a transfemme, nonbinary art director, designer, and movement artist based in Los Angeles. They examine the intersection between performance, technology, and filmmaking–generating new ideas and conversations around queer identity. Their work centers on fostering community and creating intentional space for expression and healing, while directly opposing the scrutiny of trans bodies. With two decades of training in dance, they are most proud of their collaborative work in Cassils’s Human Measure at REDCAT and The Banff Centre, Amazon’s Transparent, and performances for artists Mitski, Kesha, and Big Freedia. Their films Princess and Echoes have been shown at NewFest, Palm Springs International Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, Leeds International Film Festival, and SCI-Arc. They currently focus on creating experimental movement work, while sustaining themself with creative development and design for advertising and documentary projects.
