Bajram Kinolli is a vocalist and singer-songwriter from Kosovo. Coming from a traditional Roma family, he hails from a long line of musicians and performers. Early on, Bajram found a significant source of inspiration in the music of Bob Marley, realizing how to use his talents to speak about social and human rights issues through music. For the last five years, he has led Gipsy Groove, a successful band that fuses Balkan music with reggae, jazz, and funk, with the expressed purpose of emphasizing the role of music in the peacebuilding process. As a human rights activist, he has worked for a number of NGOs in Kosovo and around the Balkan region.
