Bridget Hrica

Bridget Hrica is a 6th grade language arts and reading teacher at John Muir Middle School in the San Jose Unified School District. She is presently in her eighth year as a full-time teacher. Bridget majored in Parks and Resource Management with a minor in History and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Chico. Her Master of Arts in Education, with an Instructional Design and Technology emphasis, and Multiple Subject Credential were earned at San Jose State University. Bridget has worked as a United States Forest Service Interpretive Specialist and in numerous community recreation programs. She is fond of skiing, aerobics, fly fishing, hiking, traveling with her husband, reading, and baking. Bridget feels honored and fortunate to be on Montalvo’s Teacher Advisory Board and enjoys being a part of the collaborative process.
