Danny Bazo is a
California-based robotics engineer and multimedia artist. Using technology
ranging from Geiger counters to autonomous cameras, he creates installation
works that explore the relationships between perception, representation, and
intelligence. He holds degrees in Visual Arts, Electrical Engineering and
Computer Science, and Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego, UC Berkeley,
and University of Bristol, respectively. He is currently an Artist in Residence
at the SETI Institute, as well as a doctoral candidate in the Media Arts and
Technology program at UC Santa Barbara.
