Doug Thistlethwaite

Currently a Masters candidate at New York University’s Interactive
Telecommunications Program, Doug Thistlethwaite is constantly searching for new ways to blur
the line between what is expected and what is possible. He has a
multidisciplinary background ranging from documentary film and motion graphics
to architectural metal fabrication, large scale sculpture and product
prototyping. Now adding physical computing, interaction design and programming
to his portfolio, Thistlethwaite seeks to combine technology with physical structures and
spaces to create pieces that inspire people to take a more active role in the
world around them.
