Gabriel Boils studied Visual Arts at the National
University of Mexico, UNAM. Currently he coordinates the Landscape Biennale in Mexico
and is tutor of the contemporary art program of the ISC, Sonora.

Using the strategies of classification, erasure and
appropriation of multiples, his work explores the concepts of repetition and difference.

He won acquisition prize in the XII Northwestern Biennale
and has been a fellow of the PECDA program 2008 and 2015. He has shown his work individually and collectively, and
his work is part of public and private art collections. He lives and works in Tijuana
Mexico.
