Humberto Duque

The characters in Humberto Duque’s drawings and films appear and slip into different roles and take on ever different forms. In this world there seems to be no fixed reference points; everything is disected into individual pieces. Duque‘s hand-drawn animation films are stories without linear narrative structures. Titles like “Traumscrpt” or “Pornautique” are word hybrids which strongly relate to the syntax of language.
