Jeannine Charles

After
receiving her B.A. in Choreography/Performance at the University of
Washington, Jeannine Charles moved to the Bay Area where she has been
teaching, choreographing and dancing professionally for the past 20
years. Some of her career highlights include founding VogtART Dance
Co. in 1995; serving as founding member/choreographer for sjDANCEco;
dancing for Company Chaddick/SF; and teaching at San Jose City
College, American Musical Theater, San Jose State University, and
Dancing Sun Studio. Currently, Charles is focusing on her company
ArtistEDGE, and composing original scores and choreography, as well
as teaching her modern technique class at Zohar Dance Studio in Palo
Alto.

ArtistEDGE
was created out of a desire to collaborate with other artists,
musicians, dancers and actors. Though it is primarily a modern dance
company, our mission is to combine inspirations from different
disciplines to find a new creative edge.
