Jeff Aaron Bryant is a musician and multimedia artist building a career across the genres of gamelan, percussion, and sound installation. An active member of the Gamelan Pacifica orchestra and singer-songwriter with the Seattle indie band, Pollens, Bryant’s pieces have also been performed by the Seattle Percussion Collective, Seattle Philharmonic, Corigliano Quartet, and Pacific Rims Percussion Quartet. Additionally, he teaches the visual programming language Max/MSP and works as a studio assistant to the Seattle-based sound sculptor, Trimpin.
Bryant received a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelors of Music degree in composition at Cornish College of the Arts. In the fall of 2011, he will attend the MTIID (Music Technology: Interaction, Intelligence & Design) program at CalArts
