Jeremy Thal

Jeremy Thal is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and educator. He has recorded and toured with indie rock
heavyweights Neutral Milk Hotel and The National, and leads his own band,
Briars of North America. Jeremy is also co-founder and co-director of Found
Sound Nation, a New-York based music organization that leverages the power
of collaborative sound-making to build community across cultural divides and
amplify movements for social justice. He is currently writing a book on
socially engaged collaborative music creation.
