Leonard Reidelbach is an artist, educator, and organizer from Richmond, VA; who lives and works in San Francisco, CA. Leonard uses silkscreen to make narrative figurative paintings and sculptural installations that complicate visibility and connection through a trans lens. Solo shows include Your Mood Gallery, CUBE Space Berkeley, and Adobe Backrooms. Group exhibitions include ICA SF, Berkeley Arts Center, Kala Institute, and Hashimoto Gallery. He was a recipient of the Murphy and Cadogan Contemporary Art Award and participated in Recology’s Artist in Residence Program. Reidelbach holds an MFA in Visual Art from San Francisco State University (2023), where he was a co-founding member of the Art Student Union. He had a graduate fellowship at the Headlands Center for the Arts and is currently in a fellowship at Kala Institute. Leonard teaches printmaking at CCA, UC Davis, and Youth Art Exchange.
