Ijichi (San Francisco, California) is a visual artist whose diverse work includes ceramic sculpture, installations, printmaking, collage, drawing and painting. Abstract and minimalist in execution, Ijichi’s work is often meditative and embodies her search for unity in a complex world. Her work has been exhibited in venues in the Bay Area, greater United States and internationally. Her work is held in the permanent collections of Smithsonian Archives of American Art’s John Held Jr. Papers (Washington, District of Columbia); Blanton Museum of Art (Austin, Texas); and Yale University Art Gallery (Yale, Connecticut); among others.
